Happy Easter!

We started our day off at another farm. Raul loved it, and we spent a long time looking at all the animals. There were some adorable baby goats and sheep! Raul thought it was really funny when the sheep would baa loudly in the barn, and when the babies jumped around. He didn't like the fences though; he tried really hard to pull and push them down, but with no luck. In the chicken barn there was a cool display where you could push buttons to hear how people made the noise for a chicken in different countries. One of the countries was actually Romania! Raul found the one for Italy the most entertaining though.

Then we went home and Raul got a new puzzle to play with. Teddy had gotten into Easter candy last night, so had to spend the night at the animal hospital. Raul was confused as to why he wasn't home when we got there, but was very excited when he got home! We did a small Easter egg hunt inside for Raul with cars inside the eggs, and also an Easter basket. Raul played with his little cars happily for hours! After a yummy Easter dinner we headed home, and are both exhausted from the busy day!

Saturday at the farm

Today was one of the first really nice days we have had, so we decided to take Raul on an adventure to the farm. It was the first time he seemed to understand where we were going when we told him. As soon as we put him in the stroller he started saying "animal" and said it on and off the whole car ride there! He liked seeing all the animals, but his favorite was actually the barn cat. He kept ordering the cat to come down, but the cat had no interest! Then we went to the grocery store and he rode in one of those car cars, which he loved! He drove both wheels, and figured out how to get the horns to honk with his hands. He actually cried when we had to leave the cart behind! When we got home it was still nice and sunny, so Raul and I played out front for a little while.

Weekend Away

We spent Saturday night in Rockport. Raul loved having everyone together again, and seeing Teddy. Sunday it was warmer, so we took Raul outside. He had fun throwing little rocks that had washed up in the storms. So much debris was washed up in the yard by the ocean this winter!

Morning Walk

This morning Raul and my dad took a walk. They found a parking lot with lots of big trucks and had to stop to look at them!

Indoor Playground

Today we took Raul to the Indoor Playground. We had never been there before, but it is very close to my parents' house. Raul was a bit overwhelmed at first, but then seemed to really like it. We were there two hours, and he was still going strong when we left! He even made friends with a few 4/5 year old girls who wanted to show off their climbing and gymnastics skills on the bars Raul was sitting under.
