Beads of Courage

Raul is now part of the Beads of Courage program. This program gives children and families a tangible way to show what they have been through on their medical journey. Each bead stands for an event, test, appointment, etc. Since our hospitals do not have the actual program, Raul is part of the "Beads from a Distance Program". His first strand of beads is to catch up on his life so far. Each of the large beads stands for 100 of something. The beads show how much Raul has been through, and the courage he has shown!
